The Dutch Tulip Bubble of 1637
The later part of the 20th century saw its share of odd financial bubbles. There was the real-estate bubble, the stock market bubbles, and the dot com bubble, just to name a few. In each instance of price inflation people paid exorbitant amounts for things that shouldn’t have been worth anything like the going price. And each time people stood around afterwards and said “What were we thinking?”

One has to believe that the same thought occurred to the Dutch in the 17th century when they settled down after their bout with tulipomania, wherein the humble tulip bulb began to sell for prices to make New York Realtors blanch.

As much as the tulip is associated with Holland, it is not native there. Rather it was introduced in 1593 by a botanist named Carolus Clusius, who brought it from Constantinople. He planted a small garden, intending to research the plant for medicinal purposes. Had Clusius’s neighbors been morally upright, the tulip might still be a rare exotic in the gardening world. Instead they broke into his garden and stole some of his bulbs in order to make some quick money, and in the process started the Dutch bulb trade

And this Judge was murdered and it was covered up.
On January 8, 2011, just a week into her third term, Giffords was a victim of an assassination attempt near Tucson, at a Safeway supermarket where she was meeting publicly with constituents. She was critically injured by a gunshot wound to the head; a total of thirteen people were injured and six others were killed in the shooting, among them federal judge John Roll and a 9-year-old child, Christina-Taylor Green.

Sitting here thinking of the Senate vote on the Judge today and what stood out in my mind was....How stupid can a democrat be to vote no on him. It seems to me it is political suicide. For one to be so dedicated to playing the role of such resistance can not bode well for them...It will be the death to some careers who live in moderate areas of the country. Very stupid for sure. Their NO vote could very well turn on them big time.

A little taste of West Virginia...Thanks liberals with your progressive movement..

Is Obama Gay.....

His birth certificate is gay too

Bernie Sanders the most popular spokes person for the Democrat party is NOT a Democrat he is Independent in fact he is the longest serving Independent in congress. This says a lot about the devastation brought on by the party pushing to far to the left (IMO).  I just thought that it's interesting; the complete disarray and lack of leadership coming from the once powerful Democrat party. Is now being lead by a member of the Young People's Socialist League  of America.
