We The People USA

Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic

Crooked politicians must be held accountable for the crimes they have done. Trump is the only one who will do it. To elect a POTUS who will not prioritize fixing our criminal political system will not be good enough for me.We will not get another one like Trump ,who will bitch slap the evil out of Washington politics..No one can deny that Trump is crazy enough to do it. But he needs us to want it fixed. He can not stand alone..This is that time in history. The time that many have hoped. Turn your back on this opportunity, and we are done. THAT IS THE TRUTH OF IT.

Thomas,

Don't forget the Muslims during the dark ages were credited with 'Saving' science. However the pundits fail to state it was the Muslims who were burning libraries and repositories of knowledge and only let about 10% remain intact because what they burned disagreed with their 'Faith' as described by the pervert Mohammad.

Thomas,

How come when you cite the ancient knowledge giants you have never to my knowledge mentioned Hypatia of Alexandria? There is a smattering of information that she was the one who worked out the precessional orbit of earth circling the sun and giving earth the seasons Circa 410 AD

M, fair critique.

Since Hypatia was an AD Hellenist rather than a BC Hellene, such as Plato; I've unconsciously not given her due recognition.

Let me do some research and get back to you.

Thomas,

here are some links;

Hypatia of Alexandria[a] (born c. 350–370; died 415 AD),[1][5] was a Hellenistic Neoplatonist philosopher, astronomer, mathematician, and inventor,[6] who lived in Alexandria, Egypt, then part of the Eastern Roman Empire.[7] She was the head of the Neoplatonic school at Alexandria, where she taught philosophy and astronomy.[8][9][10][11]

Hypatia was renowned in her own lifetime as a great teacher and wise counselor. Although no writings definitely written by her have survived, it is thought that she may have edited the surviving texts of Euclid's Elements and Ptolemy's Almagest and possibly co-written some of the commentaries attributed to her father Theon of Alexandria. She also wrote a thirteen-volume commentary on Diophantus's Arithmetica, which may survive in part, having been interpolated into Diophantus's original text, and an eight-volume popularization of Apollonius of Perga's treatise on conic sections, which has not survived. She is known to have constructed astrolabes and hydrometers, but did not invent either of these, which were both in use long before she was born. Although she herself was a pagan, she was tolerant towards Christians and taught many Christian students, including Synesius, the future bishop of Ptolemais. Towards the end of her life, Hypatia advised Orestes, the Roman prefect of Alexandria, who was in the midst of a feud with Cyril, the bishop of Alexandria. Rumors spread accusing her of preventing Orestes from reconciling with Cyril and, in March of 415 AD, she was murdered by a mob of Christian monks known as the parabalani under the leadership of a lector named Peter.[12][13]

M, thanks for the notes which were very helpful.

Indeed Hypatia is worthy of great praise yet as a teacher, scholar and commentator rather than as an inventor, innovator and creator.

Menaechmus, circa 400 BC; a colleague of Plato was the discoverer of  planetary pathways which he deduced from his development of the conic sections (circle, ellipse, parabola and hyperbola) finding that planetary motion mimicked the latter.

Whenever possible, I always apply a timeline to any perspective in history for a simple reason; it makes contrasts and distinctions clearer.

Case in point is Alexandria, created by Alexander the Great around 330 BC, on his way to conquering Persia, India and the rest of the known world.

Hypathia's era was around 400 AD; a difference of almost eight centuries.

during which Alexandria had evolved from Greek to Roman, as she herself was. Consider.

We are in 2018, One of the most notable event of eight centuries prior was the signing of Magna Carta at Runnymede in 1215.

Stay well.

Thomas,

I agree about Menaechmus figuring out the planets revolved around the sun but the orbits were thought to be circular at that time. It was Hypatia that figured out how the Precessional Elliptical orbit and the Tilt of the Earth's Axis was what caused the seasons. Although most of her writings were destroyed by the followers of the Patriarchal Church which was as biased against women at that time as Islam is now. I remember reading something somewhere about her discovering that and it was one of the charges against her that led to her murder.

We have A leader who knows that cleaning up the Swamp in DC is a priority. He has been targeting the players of the NWO. This is in my opinion the most important priority. The Globalists must be stopped. The only way of winning this war is to have many know the truth of it. Having this leader at this time in history is another blessing from God.Christians have rallied to support him. For Christians understand the importance of being part of something bigger than themselves. Restoring our relationship with God is important to the existence of our nation. Trump knows this to be.This video tells of this truth.

Respectfully, can we explore your core premise conflating politics and religion???

Man exists in a material, temporal world, while his connection to the eternal, spiritual world is his soul.

This astonishing miracle of creation, defined in Plato's Republic around 375 BC; differentiates each of us forever.

Structured Religion, a belief system that binds/connects (from Latin) us to the spiritual, deals w/the

nature and purpose of Man, providing him w/a code of right and wrong defining his conduct in human affairs.

Yet why entangle religion w/politics, a contemptible and corrupt addiction for frauds and hustlers???

The early peoples of the Fertile Crescent; the Babylonians, Hittites and Sumerians grasped the importance and vitality of Rules necessary for their culture/society to survive/thrive.

So they codified precepts of the Natural Law which predates organized religion by thousands of years.

Consider the precept, 'You cannot kill'; and its contrary;'You can kill'. Which promotes the survival of Mankind??

Adhering to these precepts are what is necessary for the advancement/development of civilization in this

material world, allowing religion to nurture our spiritual impulses and sentiments.

The greatest British Statesmen as well as our Founders grasped this and left religion to the personal and pulpit.

Man has a soul and is eternal while Nations do not and are temporal; the definitive lesson of history!!!

That's the exact reason we are fighting the Islamic desire to institute Sharia Law to supplant Constitutional Law.

Here's some Trump Train Music. what do you think about it?

I love it

Iran has been at war with the United States for a long time. And our leaders have been either complacent or stupid about this. I have a hard time believing anyone in leadership can be that stupid.. Playing stupid card does not fly with many of us.I can give useful idiots a pass. But not the leaders of the Progressive party who do not love America`s Republic.
