I have started contacting state representatives and senators about drafting a state sovereignty bill in Connecticut. Please call, write, email or visit your local reps, urging them to consider this important step. I have stressed to them that 21 other states have either passed or are voting on such resolutions and the reasons why.

IDEA FOR ACTION ITEM

One thing I've resolved to do is to call my senators and rep almost daily about any bill that's on the table.

Another thing I'm doing is suggesting ways to trim our state budget to my local representative. I've established a great rapport with her assistant, and she and I are on a first-name basis. So far I've suggested that the public schools cut non-academic programs and that illegal immigration be dealt with more stringently.

NEW SEARCH ENGINE THAT DOESN'T STORE IP ADDRESSES

Yesterday there was a news piece about Google having mistakenly flashed a warning message to prospective users when they tried to access certain sites. Reportedly the problem lasted only an hour.

It actually lasted much longer than that and apparently came up when people tried to enter certain anti-Obama sites such as Atlas Shrugs, Dr. Orly's site and Texas Darlin.
