Today and Always

At the Memorial Day commemoration at the National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia, I served as the officer-in-charge, wearing my dress blue uniform.  This uniform, as well as those of the other soldiers and veterans reminded us – as did the honor guard firing three rifle volleys and the buglers playing “Taps” – of the selfless individuals that once stood beside us; and as officers, of the men who stood before us, in combat as well as in ceremonies. The Marque of Leadership

Desperate times call for desperate measures.
