We The People USA

Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic

THIS is the first yr in a long long time that i have not cared about celebrating the new yr too upset over our nation and constitution obamaheadface etc all the corruption the sharia law financing just to name a few

too upset and thinking nuh uh the new yr does not deserve to be celebrated too scary a lot too many unknowns

I am thinking of more of a prayer vigil prayer time instead of a partying drinking confetti type deal

and i have no interest in shouting at midnight or turning on the stupid tv to bands i could care less about or to announcers i could care less about as those new yrs shows have gotten dumber and dumber every yr anyway

your thoughts and if you are gonna pray before and at midnight let me know too

just curious to what all the conservatives and Christians are thinking if any are thinking like me

some folks never really celebrate new yrs much anyway but i usually do something like go to the neighbors with my kids play games etc well not this yr i think it is all about prayer

again your thoughts etc and be nice :)

Nice to hear from a neighbor Sharon. I live in White Lake, NW of Pontiac, just off M59. I am somewhat familar with the Downriver area, Wyandtt area anyways. I did some geneology in that area. Perhaps like you, I am a GM brat, married a GM man and I have an eldest son tied to automotive who just was laid off with 2 small children and one on the way. My husband's job is threatened everyday. I'm sure you hear the same everywhere Downriver as well. You know Sharon, I have been though tough times like this before, in 1979-1984, I'm sure you know how the automotive runs in cycles. But this is different, way, way different. I would feel better if someone like Regan was in office, I wasn't too keen with McCain, but I certainly did not want Obama. This guy really scares me, and that's the difference. Once more, I watched in absolute shock when Bush, of all people, started that bailout stuff. What was he smoking???? I respected him up to that point, then he just lost me. I am convenced that the fear we are experiencing is not just the "normal" recession of our area, but the total takeover of Washington without regard to the Consititution. Personally I think we have just experienced a bloodless coup and unless we stand up the America we know will fade in the shadow of Marxism. My god they are already calling some positions Czars and Obama is giving speeches on Muslim TV bashing the very country the elected him to the highest office. Now I'm not all that political, but good lord, how can anyone NOT see what is happening? Sometimes I just want to stand on top of the RenCen and screem!
Hey if you want to email me, you can reach my hotmail at taylorrj2009@hotmail.com. Thanks for listening friend.

joyce, hang in there kiddo !!! I live 18 miles from Detroit (Downriver)... It has been a tough go for us here. We have not gotten out of the original recession of 2001, while we in MI are used to this - sad to say, the last year or so has been particularly rough.. Great thing to seek help, I am considering that myself as I am finding myself feeling glum..... I think it makes it worse for us here because we have been dealing with this for so long. The rest of the country is now following and all the news is disturbing... We both know that anything Washington does will not help us, probably make it worse. To bad the new president did'nt take our governor huh? We will get through this, and my feeling is that it is not as bad out there as they portray it to be. I have already noticed the media toning it down since the new guy got into office. Probably on purpose... It will all work out.....

About mid September is when I remember starting to feel blue, like something terrible was about to happen at anytime. It seemed like I was in a constant state of alert. By late October I realized this wasn't me, something was wrong. I am nomally an upbeat type of person, not paranoid in the least, but I just could not get rid of this cloud and deep sence of distrust. I finally decided to go see a psychiatrist. I explained how I had been feeling and he acknowledged that economic stressors have been affecting just normal nerotics like me (I live near Detroit, need I say more?). But what suprised me was how he spoke of just how many patients have been seeking psychiatric help for exactly the same reasons as I. And I don't mean chronic patients, just normal working class people who probably would never seek out psychiatric help unless they were really suffering.

Linda, thank you for tapping into my feelings.... This is a tough pill to swallow. I am not a paranoid individual, nor am I into conspiracy theories. I have had a real tough time with this election, no other has affected me this way. It is not that my candidate did not win so much as THE candidate that did win...I believe our country to be on dangerous ground and I do not trust him...He does not even go to church... How does the POTUS not go to church? I will be candid with you Linda... I know how you feel, I love the national anthem for example, and it does not even sound the same to me anymore... I guess I am afraid, I will admit it.

Definitely not a partying mood. I don't know what it will take to get the country back on the right track and I don't know where to begin to do something about it. Petitions O.K. But I don't know if we are getting anywhere.

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." -2nd Chronicles 7:14

This seems to be what is needed right now...many stayed home on election day because they did not trust the Lord...it is still not too late. Prayers, praying that the TRUTH will come into the light for all to see...Amen. :) Prayers are needed right now...all God's people...Amen. :)
