Brian Baird- Congressman S.W. Washington

Baird announced last week he won't be seeking re-election in 2010. No doubt because of his own behavior calling people who disagree with the power grab agenda of Pelosi, "Brown Shirts", he couldn't bear the storm he created. Baird stopped listening to his constituents, voted yes for every tax increase that came up, and generally disrespected his constituents and our nation. It's like he lost his mind, but did show everybody where his allegiance lies, it is with a tyrannical government rather then the U.S. Constitution and his constituents in S.W. Washington. Baird see's people like Pelosi get away with this inappropriate behavior every day, constantly eroding freedom & liberty from the people, engaging in unethical activities for personal gain, and spewing lies with every breath she speaks. Baird tried those same tactics, and learned that you can't get away with California behavior when representing Washington constituents.

I think Baird is stepping down because his constituents have put so much pressure on him, and expressed an overwhelming disgust for his actions, behavior, and statements that he knows he has no chance of re-election. What he is doing is stepping aside in hopes another Democrat will be elected to take his place, to continue in the destructive agenda of Pelosi and the Democrat's. I feel Baird is now very dangerous, as he has little to lose now.
