Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic

I received a Census from the U. S. Department of Commerce which I feel invades my rights to be Secure in my Home, papers, etc from unreasonable Searches and Seizures. The Constitution of the United States of America specifically states that the Census is to be used for gathering the total population of each State to determine the amount of Representatives they shall have.

It is not in the Government's enumerated powers to invade the privacy of the people and Command them to give the Government information about their home, job, salary, or personal life. This is an intrusion into the Rights to Life, Liberty, and the Rights to Property. The Government of the United States of America has abused it's powers and have placed all of us within the rules of the Dept. of Commerce. Check out this link and read the Section dealing with Commerce. I don't want you to take my word for it!

Part of it says:

Delegation and Individual Liberties - Delegation and Individual Liberties.—It has been argued
in separate opinions by some Justices that delegations by Congress
of power to affect the exercise of ‘‘fundamental freedoms’’ by citizens
must be closely scrutinized to require the exercise of a congressional
judgment about meaningful standards. 181 The only pronouncement
in a majority opinion, however, is that even with regard
to the regulation of liberty the standards of the delegation
‘‘must be adequate to pass scrutiny by the accepted tests.’’ 182 The
standard practice of the Court has been to interpret the delegation
narrowly so as to avoid constitutional problems. 183
Perhaps refining the delegation doctrine, at least in cases
where Fifth Amendment due process interests are implicated, the
Court held that a government agency charged with the efficient administration
of the executive branch could not assert the broader
interests that Congress or the President might have in barring lawfully
resident aliens from government employment. The agency
could assert only those interests Congress charged it with promoting,
and if the action could be justified by other interests, the
office with responsibility for promoting those interests must take
the action. 184

Therefore, I submitted my Census with only basic information about myself and my family. I am tired of the Tyranny by Government agents who forget that we do have a Constitution with a Bill of Rights. That our Rights are Natural, not a gift of Government. Time to let them know it. I will defend the Constitution and our Rights. Let me hear your thoughts.

Well ,Lee, they want us to be like sheep. So that we will bow down before them. As long as people keep asking government for more programs and benefits, grants, loans, etc., they will continue to try and dictate to us. Don't give up your firearms, it's the last safety net for our freedoms.

Roger that, Ed! As government collects all this information on us, then makes repeated bids to confiscate our weapons and abridge our 2nd Amendment rights so we are defenseless, what do you think they have in store for us? Hmmm......
