To make my point, a condensed U.S. Marine Corps amphibious landing process provides a very good example ... The landing boats are loaded, the boats come on line forming a wave & proceed toward the beach/beaches. The landing boat waves proceed to an imaginary line called "DEMARKATION LINE". Once the boat waves reach the "DEMARKATION LINE" defined as the "THE POINT OF NO RETURN", the landing force is COMMITTED, there's no turning back to the ship, the landing force is COMMITTED!
