Dear District #8 Residents,

We have had a very exciting week, although the excitement did not match the events at Bill Pascrell's Town Hall meeting last week.

We had an interview with Diane Lilli of The Jersey Tomato Press, met people at the NJ Transit Bus station, and met people at concerts in Verona and Passaic. I spoke to close to 200 people at the North Jersey Tea Party last night.

We Have Some “Great Events” Coming Up.

Saturday:

On Saturday at 1 PM, Scott Rumana is having his annual picnic in Kinnelon:

Date: August 21st, 2010
Time: 1:00 to 5:00 P.M.
Place: 11 Kayhart Drive, Kinnelon

Sunday:

On Sunday at 2 PM, we are having our weekly volunteer meeting. This week it will be a PALS Cabin, 265 Prospect Ave, West Orange

Also on Sunday Roland will be attending:

11:00 AM: Dominican Flag Raising, 300 Passaic St, Passaic (City Hall)

3:00 PM: St Nicholas Church Festival, 217 President St, Passaic

5:30 PM: Clifton Concert (Main Memorial Park)

Tuesday:

7:00 PM: Let the Truth be Heard Rally, Montclair Municipal Building, 205 Claremont Ave, Montclair -- Come listen to the other side of the story about health care – Protest the unfair treatment from Pascrell and the Township of Montclair.

Wednesday:

6:00 PM: Nutley Family Picnic in Nichols Park. It is rumored that Lautenberg, Menendez, Pascrell, and DiVincenzo will be there. Let's show the flag.

Thursday:

7:00 PM: West Orange Republican Club Meeting, PALS Cabin, 265 Prospect Ave, West Orange
