Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic

I am sick and tired of these Washington pundits telling me the US Auto Manufacturers won’t make cars Americans want to buy. They are WRONG! I want a Ford F-350, quad cab, dual rear wheel, long bed, diesel ( I have one to tow my horse trailer. I want a V-8 Thunderbird, (I have a 1997 with 45mm intake, high pressure injectors and hyper chip, (goes 140 mph if I push it). I also want the new Dodge Challenger with the big hemi in signal yellow with a big ugly spoiler and black accent stripes, (getting quotes now).

What I want in my American made car is less government interference. I don’t want to pay $3,000.00 for front, side, top and bottom air bags. I don’t want to pay an extra $2,000.00 for catalytic converters, collapsing dash boards, break away side mirrors or crush zones. I don’t want any of that junk! That’s why all these cars cost so stinking much. I had a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 383 cu. In. 4 speed (automatic was $400.00 more) AM/FM radio, front disk brakes, all the options and it cost a whopping $3,250.00 plus tax and tag! In the next couple of years after 1970 the greenies started with the cat-converters and the rest is history.

Do you have any idea how much it cost the builders to research the cat-converters and re-tool for their installation? Then GM tried the 4-6-8 Cadillac to save on fuel and emissions, what a disaster! There was a period for American car makers when all the regulations caused them to build a real junky car, but that’s over. We build the best cars in the world, and they are cheap to maintain. A 15,000 mile service on my Porsche costs, $2,000.00, and that’s crazy.

People also don’t understand that the safety rating and air bag baloney is all tested at 35 mph. Nobody goes 35mph! On the interstate at 75 mph all the air bags in the world won’t save you, EVERYBODY DIES. The only thing the seatbelt does is make it easier for the ambulance driver to find the body. If they were really concerned with safety we would all be driving Citroen cars (there is nothing safer).

Sure the unions are to blame for a lot of Detroit’s head aches but Congress shares the blame. These new CAFÉ standards are for the birds! A Fiat 500 can’t pass the test how can a nice beefy 500 hp Ford Shelby Mustang come close? And why does it matter? The entire global warming concept is a complete HOAX! It’s just another power grab, another way to control us. I don’t want to destroy the planet, we are the custodians of our home, but for the love of God do you really believe we can destroy a Billions of year old planet in our own meager, insignificant 80 years here?

If “pro” is a good thing as in progress, what is the opposite, “con” as in Congress? Listen to me people; vote the whole lot out, all of the, all at once. Get rid of these career politicians. Joe Biden has been a politician since 1973, Ted Kennedy since 1962, Ted Stevens since 1968, this is absurd! They have never had a REAL job so how are they going to help you with unemployment at 8.3%? Let’s start fresh with a whole new crop and if they turn out to be a bunch of crooks and thieves, then vote them out too. Be clear on one important point; There is not a one of them up there inside the Beltway who has any idea of what they are doing.
