Terrorist on Terrorist Attacks

It is always disturbing when one hears of any sort of terrorist attack regardless of the number of injuries or death. Just knowing how arbitrary and unfocused the attacks are makes one wonder if, or when it could happen to you. I suppose that’s why it is called terrorism. This attack on the UN guest house was no more offensive than any other, but the Taliban has chosen to grand stand on this one presuming the world would be more offended than… Continue

American Dynasty

What is a dynasty? According to Myriam Webster it is a “powerful group or family which maintains a place of power for a considerable time.” Not coincidentally history shows us that all dynasties end up deteriorating into powerful persons who succumb to arrogance, debauchery and corruption. When one speaks of an American dynasty generally we think the powerful, arrogant and corrupt Kennedy’s but in America today many more lurk in the halls of… Continue

A little help from my firends

Dear Friends of the network,

I have recently been invited to be a featured author on the Beretta Tactical site. The site is run by former military and intelligence operatives. The articles run the gamut from political to shooting tips even amateur gun-smithing. There are always opportunities for authors from the site to be picked up by print magazines and other hard copy venues. Please visit http://www.berettatactical.com and help support our efforts to educate and train others in… Continue

The Death of NASCAR

Well with the Government running Chrysler and GM I guess NASCAR is going to be pretty boring. No more roar of engines, just the monotonous hum of electric motors creeping around the track at breakneck speeds of oh, 60 or 62 miles per hour. And I guess they won’t have to rush the pit stops either. I just can’t see Tony Stewart purring into the pits and making those guys run around the car all in a rush when the refueling is going to take about 8 hours. The good thing is in a 500 mile race he… Continue

She's Right!

I heard Judge Sonia Sotomayor’s statement the other day and was pretty shocked at first but then I started thinking about it, now here’s what she said.

"I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion [as a judge] than a white male who hasn't lived that life."

Take a moment and analyze her words, they actually make sense. White guys have been in charge of this country for over 200 years and look… Continue

Dear Congress

Dear Congress

This bill you recently introduced, the one that’s over 600 pages, yes that one, what was up with having a speed reader come in to read the bill? You really think that was clever? I’ll bet ya’ll had a cute little chuckle over that, “They want us to read the bill, okay, we’ll show them.” That was by far the biggest slap in the face to the American people of all time. It exemplifies your conceited, narcissistic, self absorbed, megalomania! There is probably only a mere… Continue

Dear Mr. President

President Obama,

I understand you are trying to fix the U.S. automobile industry, but please don't say they build cars Americans don't want. I have a 1988 Mustang with 280.000 miles on it and I love the car. We rebuilt the engine and transmission just because, it didn't need it but I like to tinker. My Ford F-350 diesel has 230,000 miles on it and it pulls my horse trailer just fine and works on my ranch every day. Some people like those Jap cars and those Kraut rigs mostly so they… Continue

U.N. Chief calls U.S. Dead Beat

Tuesday the U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon called the United States as a "deadbeat" donor to the world body. Nice huh?

The United States pays 22% of the organization's nearly $5 billion operating budget but he claimed we are perennially late paying its dues. That number, 22% in dollars is one hundred and ten million dollars! Do we have 22% of the total vote value? What does the UN do for the U.S. for this money? Skip that, what does the U.N. do period? Why do we, the tax payers… Continue

Hey Joe Biden; You’re not Alone

For many years I worked in Washington and had the opportunity to interact with Joe Biden and from my first encounter with the man I knew he was a stone cold idiot. During the campaign I thought President Obama’s choice for a running mate was a sure guarantee of a loss, I was wrong. But then during the campaign I also thought, and said, that Mr. Obama was an intelligent man and an orator of great prowess, again I was wrong.

I have since discovered that President Hussein Obama is a… Continue

US Auto Crisis is just Bull

I am sick and tired of these Washington pundits telling me the US Auto Manufacturers won’t make cars Americans want to buy. They are WRONG! I want a Ford F-350, quad cab, dual rear wheel, long bed, diesel ( I have one to tow my horse trailer. I want a V-8 Thunderbird, (I have a 1997 with 45mm intake, high pressure injectors and hyper chip, (goes 140 mph if I push it). I also want the new Dodge Challenger with the big hemi in signal yellow with a big ugly spoiler and black accent stripes,… Continue
