Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic
I have been thinking a lot ( notice the burning rubber smell pervading the site?) and have come to a conclusion. I like most of us realize that the Main Stream Media has been totally co-opted by the Elitist NWO/Progressive/Communist/Democrat or what ever Nom De Plume is currently being bandied around. We all know that we have not and will not get the truth out of any Main Media Outlet unless something drastic takes place they can't cover up. It used to be in my youth that there were at least four different papers in every major city owned and operated by competing publishers. The major publishers were Pulitzer, Hearst, and a person that believed that News Papers didn't have to resort to the Yellow Journalism that Hearst and Pulitzer promulgated. That man was Adolph Ochs. He purchased the New York Times and brought in the Era of responsible Journalism. That was a short lived era and began breaking down when; The Nations largest news papers like the New York Times, the Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Chicago Sun Times etc. gave us seemingly balanced information like the Watergate Scandal, and the Pentagon Papers but in effect it was the start of the Partisan Propaganda we get today. Ever since the mid Sixties there has been Corporate entities like the Gannett group buying up News sources and television news. this has had the effect of creating a mass propaganda dissemination force. The way we can make our protests efficient and effective is to protest the news sources themselves. Not to the news sources, but to every one of their commercial sponsors. If the buying public would unite for even a month and unite to focus on those sponsors by not buying any of their products and letting them know we were not buying because of the Propaganda being put out it would have a very strong effect on the purveyors of that propaganda called so loosely news since they are commercial entities and do need to make a profit even though they say or allude they are against Capitalism. What they are really against is open and fair competition.
