Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic

A majority of young voters convened by Fusion told host Alicia Menendez that after Thursday night’s Republican presidential debate, they will vote for Texas Senator Ted Cruz in next week’s Iowa caucus.
Out of eight panel members, six said they were either solidly for Cruz, or debating between Cruz and another candidate.
Brooke D. a registered Republican, said she didn’t know whom she would support before the debate, but that Cruz successfully talked up his record.
“This solidified my choice,” she said.
None mentioned Donald Trump, who did not attend the Fox-hosted event. Shane K., a registered Republican, observed that Donald Trump’s absence seemed to give the candidates a better opportunity to air their views.
“He takes away the ability for candidates to respond seriously to issues,” he said. “His absence gave some time to focus on the more serious issues.”
Trump had a 7-point lead on Cruz heading into Thursday’s debate according to Real Clear Politics.
Only one panelist said he was considering Marco Rubio. Another, Tiffany W., said that as an evangelical voter she was actually turned off by the Florida Senator’s repeated discussion of his faith.
“We need a commander in chief, not a pastor in chief,” she said.
Fusion’s panel brought together 14 Iowa Republicans, a majority of whom said they came in undecided.
Note: A random list of eight registered Republican voters ages 18 to 34 were sourced by Bendixen & Amandi International from all over the Des Moines area. Prospective respondents were contacted randomly, and a diverse sampling of voters were screened to qualify for this research study.

Fox News used a pollster to host a pro-Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)79% focus group after Thursday night’s Republican debate, despite the fact that the pollster actually had Rubio as a client. Pollster Frank Luntz got significant airtime to direct a post-debate focus group that unsurprisingly was very favorable to Rubio, the GOP establishment pick in the primary race. “Megyn, you asked probably the toughest question of the debate. You gave the candidates no room to wiggle. You pressed him. And he responded,” Luntz gushed to Megyn Kelly, awkwardly referring only to Rubio before even mentioning him by name. “I want to begin with |
Despite some viewing last night’s Fox debate as possibly skewed against his son Ted, the Senator’s Father, Rafael Cruz opted to not play the victim card and tout it as proof of his son’s success, instead.

You betcha Rafael Cruz!!!....and congrats on raising such a WONDERFUL SON... to save our republic and restore her.. You let him join the HERITAGE FOUNDATION in jr. high....You walked before him as a Godly man...setting his feet on the paths of righteousness..He is a success story for the Kingdom of God....He will be our next Washington/Reagan.........God bless you and your son and God Bless America thru TED CRUZ AS OUR NEXT POTUS..
The media has gotten behind Trump because he will work with Democrats to pass socialized medicine in this country. Even FOX is now blasting Cruz in favor of Rubio and showing there self's to be the RINO news network. Luntz and one of the moderators has worked for or has children working for Rubio. Fair and balanced my ass, we the people are ready to vote lets see how many buy the bullshit coming out of the press.
My bet is they will need to create some new spin as to why Cruz won. LOL
Yes DV..That is my main objective for posting all this conservative news...Breitbart is now in the tank for Trump but will give some fair and balance for Cruz...to not be totally against him....I stopped posting FNC online quite awhile back...That said.. I may go and take a peek and see what they are saying today....:)
Pollster Kellyanne Conway, president and CEO of the polling company, “inc./WomanTrend,” told Breitbart News Daily host Stephen K. Bannon today, “For whatever else happens in 2016, the one, two punch of Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has left the establishment flat on its backs. They aren’t even part of the conversation. They cannot recover.”
Conway went on, “This nonsense of electability that you and I have been talking about for years … ‘you can’t win’, ‘you can’t win’, it’s been the death knell of people like Trump and Cruz in the past and this time, it’s the establishment candidates. It’s somebody names Bush. It’s Chris Christie.” Adding in Kasich and rubio, Conway pointed out that poll after poll points out, it’s the establishment candidates who are un-electable this year.
Added Conway, “Conservatives should no longer be called a wing of he party. They are the bse of the party.”
