Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic
The extreme conservative part of the Tea Party is a selfish self centered infection of what used to be a great movement. Saying Sara`s endorsement is bought and that she is only in it for the money is wrong. That is the selfish poison that Hard core conservatives inject. Same as the hard core Liberal`s., poison the other side. Now you want me to leave this site. The one who truly loves the constitution. The one who is not selfish. REALLY...I tell you what you want me gone I will go . Take a vote and let me know.I have no problem with leaving here.

who is suggesting you leave Kevin....I have no interest to see anyone leave our forum.
LOL...No one wants you to leave Kev....you should stay...just try and get over your hatred for me and for other hard core conservatives...The TPPs. ...The largest tea party in America has now endorsed Ted Cruz...before the election.....Tea party nation has endorsed Ted Cruz a long time back...Evidently I am more like the tea Parties than many libertarians are...Stop being childish and enraged...just calm down and give your opinions not so personally as to be attacks on a person and be more generalized..it will still get your view point out and not be an attack...I will say right now...I have no use at all for Rand Paul but I knew you adored him so I purposefully left off my comments on him to keep the peace...
I am no hard core conservative, That is the right wing side of our countries divide. So now I am a hater and a child. That is very typical of you DE. Name calling.
I am very sad - this is not why I'm here. I could be mad at many people here for whom the bell tolls. I really liked Ted Cruz, and I was for Trump - for his williness to speak out. But, Cruz' latest letter writing really turned me against him. I first thought it was a sneaky trick played by the Dems - sending letters out and telling a person who hadn't voted for a while to get out there and vote. And oh, by the way, your neighbors (using their names) also need to be pushed into voting. WHAT!
Marco Rubio lost me a long way back, and I hadn't even thought much about Rand Paul. I like him, but didn't consider him for the job. Lately, though, I found his speeches were, very much closer to what this country needs.
Then, I took a conservative - How Conservative are you survey." After getting the feedback, I guess I'm more Trump than I thought.
So with that said, I don't care for whom any of you consider their choice. Good for each one of you. You are participating.
The one thing that does make me a bit angry, - stop with the RINO, Liberal, Libertarian, names. What difference does it make as long as we are pushing the true We The People Agenda.
So discuss your candidate choice, explain what you like, try to convince others why.
No matter what, at the end, I will vote for the Republican nominee - even one I dislike. Then I will try as best I can, to force the elected President and Congress to do what is right for America.
Come on guys and gals, every one of you cares about the country and the Constitution; and each one has so much past history and experiences that affects our beliefs. And that, more than anything, helps us make the choices we do.
And everyone - do not consider leaving. I came here because of all of you.
Some reflections.
Is Roman Catholicism or Judaism or Hinduism, among the great other worldly religions, defined by what its members feel or think it represents???Most emphatically not!!! The great religions are defined by their core precepts and principles which their followers are obligated to accept Otherwise, they are neither Catholics nor Jews nor Hindus.
So to w/Principled Conservatism, born in the Greece of Aristotle and Plato and then nurtured by the minds of the Scholastics and later the English Whigs, such as Hume and Locke. In the 18th century, Burke and de Maistre, as well as Russell Kirk in our time, articulated its core principles and values; which include an enduring Moral Order governing Man, the primacy of the Natural Law, the criticality of the Family Unit as the linchpin of culture/society; among other precepts.
The notion that Principled Conservatism is whatever its supporters assert, is beyond laughable. And the last people who should be asked to define it are our politicians, perpetually too stupid for words.
As for Libertarianism, it is a creation of the French Enlightenment (Liberte') and while it exalts freedom, certainly a worthy concept; it is not a core conservative precept.
I think we are overreacting to the results of this first primary/caucus. This was a do or die win for Cruz. He could not afford to come in second place to anyone in the first battle. It didn't matter if he won by one vote or 10,000 votes he needed to win. Without a win, he has no sails and no motor and no chance to keep the ship afloat. Trump needed the win to coast to the finish line and not have to spend his money on the rest of the races the media would provide all the exposure he needs. Now Trump has lost some of his hot air and will have to replace it with money, his. Rubio needed a good showing in Iowa to break him away from all the other candidates and he far exceeded his expectations. Trump and Cruz cannot remain as the one two candidates, they both are drawing support from the same group of voters. Either Trump or Cruz will crash and burn soon and Rubio will be there to challenge who is left. The nomination will be won by the candidate that attracts the most voters from the largest pool of voters, issue-driven voters.
I've never really paid attention to any of the first primaries/ I will vote as I believe - not to try to change the picture, just to vote as I believe. So, yeah, on to the next one.
The fiscal conservative jumped out of race today
The tea party turned out a record number of votes and won and someone has the nerve to put up a thread suggesting the tea party is not strong and growing. It may be the dream of all the left-wingers on this site but it stands in stark contrast to the truth as witnessed by the Iowa record turnout and a conservative victory.
You all can fight among yourself s as deniers and cry come election day but me I am just going to enjoy your desperation as you find the need to try and fight conservatives rising up.
Have fun with it. LOL
DV I am sure the TP would like to take credit for the large turnout but I think that is a stretch....I think most of the credit for the larger turnout in Iowa has to go to Trump. Unfortunately, for Trump the added interest didn't go to him and went to the other candidates. This turns out to be good for Rubio and some of the other candidates. It was mostly a last minute decision for many voters to abandon the Trump campaign.
