The Bread and Circuses Presidency By Daniel Greenfield Monday, January 19, 2009

Call it the Bread and Circuses Presidency, or better yet the Bailouts and Reality TV Presidency. Forget expecting results or ethics from the occupant of the White House. Just join an organization or a cause and stick your hand out for your share of misappropriated taxpayer money, and get ready to vote online for which puppy the Obama’s should adopt.

Already long ago, from when we sold our vote to no man, the People have abdicated our duties; for the People who once upon a time handed out milita… Continue

DID OUR FOUNDING FATHERS SEPARATE POLITICS AND RELIGION???

I find it necessary to share this email with friends, fighters for our country's sovereignty and survival.

Dear *****,

May I suggest, and don't take it personally, to make it happen we need to be inclusive...we need EVERYBODY to join us. We need them to join us based on teh MERIT of our case. Accordingly, we need to keep religion and our personal beliefs out of it, other than politics of course. We have to be careful to keep suggestions of violence out of it too. We need to WIN, at the polls.… Continue

ANSWERS TO THE CRISIS.......IT WAS PLANNED

Rahm Emmanuels, Obama's chief of Staff states what is the secret-no-longer-Bilderberg plan for us by recently stating:
"We liberals are not the least bit concerned about the economy, not because it isn't every bit as bad as you've heard, but precisely because we believe it is.
You see, we finally have a chance to implement our ideas on a grand scale. We've helped brew the perfect storm by imposing policies that largely led to the mortgage meltdown and scapegoating corporations for them, thereby… Continue

Time for a 'Hall of Shame' (add any letters, emails, conversations)

Just got off the phone with Ron Paul... It is with a heavy heart that I must report this...
The (10 minute) conversation was not a good one. I brought up the Constitution, and the 'natural born' issue, and then asked him point blank if he would be willing to submit (or at least support) an objection to the electoral vote certification on Jan 8th.
He said (I'm paraphrasing), "if I did that I'd be laughed out of congress. No one is going to do that. There is no Constitutional law that actually def… Continue

Damned Right I'm Still Mad - Gracious Losers My Ass! ( received in email from a Texan Hoot)

Damned Right I'm Still Mad - Gracious Losers My Ass!

Yes I'm still seething with rage. Call it B Obama derangement syndrome or just pure derangement. I DON'T CARE. I have put up with disgusting, vile and contemptible comments about my country and My President for 8 years so excuse me if I forego the "gracious loser" mantra.

I have watched a fat pig congressman throw Marines under the bus for some face time and as a political ploy.

I have put up with politicians publicly taking a dump on our S… Continue

Thank you for being passionate about my recent blog post. I posted this story on 4 different web sites and so far YOURS is the only one that is thinking like me. I am running across very passive people who have already waved the white flag of surrender and have the mentality of "If you can't beat them join them." I would be proud to be your cell mate. Look me up.

- John Adams

"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
- Benjamin Franklin

"The fabric of American empire ought to rest on the solid basis of the consent of the people. The streams of national power ought
to flow from that pure, original fountain of all legitimate
authority."

“It is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth — and listen to the song of that siren, till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those, who having eyes, see not, and having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it might cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.”
- Patrick Henry

"That government is best - which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."
- Thomas Jefferson
