On May 8th of this year, I will be graduating with my Master's of Library and Information Science. I still have much work left to do some of which is on hold until I receive feed back. I covet prayers for the completion of my work and for finding a job.
I am looking for a job either in a museum (which is my first choice) or an archives, but will also accept on in a library or really any area if it comes to it. I have my updated resume online if anyone is interested in seeing this. It… Continue

It didn't take the Lair in Chief this week to start the ball rolling. Monday he met with his team and said for them to cut 100 million from his budget. Wow how generous and a joke I'm not falling for, no way. First of all I know exactly why he did this, it's a cover screen for us to fall for cutting back on spending. In my opinion it's just something to make me think he has seen the light. Well I don't fall for it folks. I know the only reason for him doing it is to give more propaganda for his… Continue

Here we go again wondering what is in store for this week. That remains to be seen but as each week goes by is another week in the Liar in Chief's agenda to do the opposite of what he took his oath to do. According to the Constitution is to protect and defend. His agenda as I see it is to Seek and Destroy our Constitution. I believe that not only did he hire 100 Constitution lawyers for the Lawsuits but also to do also the rewriting of the precious document. That is something I am not willing… Continue

If Obama worms are so certain their power was honestly obtained and their policies are totally accepted by the American public, then why did they respond to the tea party the way they did?
Ahah! Me thinks they protest too loud? Often guilt and fear speak to us in strange ways. Maybe behind dead fish Rahm Emanuel’s suave façade, Roberts Gibbs word games of wit, Nancy Pelosi’s giddy power intoxication, Obama’s glittering bravado are a nest… Continue
Well, the tax day tea parties all across the country were a big success. They brought true focus on the effects that out-of-control taxing and spending will certainly have on our country and our heirs in the future. Left unchecked, these ruinous fiscal policies will most assuredly bankrupt America and reduce us to ‘banana republic’ status.
The 10th Amendment means what it says.... and "we the people" are key to re-establishing our Constitutional Republic. Support 10th amendment States Rights. Federal Mandates are UNCONSTITUTIONAL... or have we truly digressed to a government of men.
The perspective from which I am operating is a democratic republic perspective --- the perspective that the people are sovereign, not government. This is important, because through most of history, the people were not sovereign --- and… Continue

HSLDA has received numerous calls about the Serve America Act (H.R. 1388 and S. 277), which recently passed both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate, and which is on its way to the president’s desk.
HSLDA has reviewed H.R. 1388, and there is nothing in the bill as passed by both the House and… Continue

Recently, I completed my comps exam and in this exam there were couple of questions which required students to compare and contrast two different things. I thought I would try the same here.
Disclaimer: While I have a BA in history I do not claim to be an expert and much of this will be coming from memory. Consider this series as a challenge to you to dig out the history books and find out for yourself. After all, that is exactly what we need to be doing as United States… Continue

The following is a message I received in November of last year and posted to my FaceBook account. I thought I would post it here as it seems to be coming true.
The following is something I received as an email not too long ago and I felt it is important enough to share here.
Hymn to Hitler
by
Lori Kalner
In Germany, when Hitler came to power, it was a time of terrible financial depression. Money was worth nothing. In Germany people lost homes and jobs,… Continue

California asks feds to back its IOUs ... I wonder if Obama will ask Gov Schwarzenegger to resign ... just as he did GM CEO Rick Wagner? Only $13 Billion to start off the year. Amazing .. Our fearless California leaders place the blame is on economic factors.. banking... credit crunch.... because the truth hurts... those in California Leadership and the Media will overlook the truth.... irresponsible OVERSPENDING and ILLEGAL ALIENS...California’s nearly 3 million illegal immigrants cost… Continue

Yesterday's tea parties from sea to shining sea and sunrise to sunset could best be described as America in action as permitted under the US Constitution! It was a day to make our hearts soar like an eagle! Shoulder to shoulder, with quiet determination, undaunted purpose and proud dignity, patriots made a clear and unmistakable statement! "Hell, no, we are not going to take it any longer."! They were silently shouting their commitment to restore America to… Continue
By now you've probably heard of the shameful actions by Susan Roesgen, the CNN reporter who harrassed attendees at yesterday's Chicago Tea Party. Instead of reporting on the Tea Party, Roesgen picked people out of the crowd to confront and argue with, before signing off her report by labeling the tea party movement as "anti-CNN" and "not family viewing."
You can write to Ms. Susan Roesgen and express how you feel via her email address here:… Continue
